Don’t wait. Menopause is not an excuse. I went from a size 12 to a size 8! I came to Personal Best with a weight loss goal in mind. Before I started training with Millie I considered myself fit. I trained and participated in an annual European mountain hike but I couldn't lose the weight. Accountability and weekly check ins helped me become mindful of my eating habits. I was at an awards dinner recently and someone commented "you look amazingly stunning in your black and white dress"!
I lost 40 lbs! I felt I could trust Millie to be my guide. The best advice I can give someone else is don’t try to do it alone, let someone help you and be open to a new way.
Now that I have reached my goal, I feel good, strong and I have more energy. My overall health is better. And, I finally enjoy getting dressed in the morning.
The first time I met Millie I went up to her and said “I want to look like you”. After training with her to increase my strength and balance, I lost 20 + pounds and my cholesterol went down 50 points! Millie is someone you can trust. She has the right perspective on health. I come from a “foodie family” and I love to cook. Now I try new recipes eat less meat and more veggies. Millie taught me that “it’s not a day choice it’s a life choice”.
