Millie's philosophy is helping me turn things around!
I love Millie’s positive attitude. And I love her topic this month: Nurturing. So many people tell you what NOT to do. Millie is always helping me try to make better choices.
Telling me what not to do makes me really, really, really want to do it. No kidding. I told Millie, “There’s something in my head that is just defiant!” That’s not nurturing – that’s sabotage! I love that Millie is helping me turn that around and not think so much about what not to eat, but rather thinking about what I can, and want to eat that is also healthy. And, the irony of it is - I LOVE VEGETABLES. Wow. So, it’s not that I can’t eat what’s good for me. Or, that I don’t like what’s good for me. It’s that I choose not to eat what’s good for me. Go figure.
I am a semi-pro organizer. I’m great at getting the clutter out of everyone else’s life. Millie’s helping me over the next couple of weeks in “decluttering” my fridge, the Halloween candy (which is really stale, but handy in a desperate pinch never-the-less) and shopping with more purpose (go full, take a list, buy lots of veggies). I totally get the concept, but the “doing” is so difficult for me. I can see myself steering toward the Valentine candy aisle as we speak! I’ll let you know how it goes.
I will be providing Millie with some marketing suggestions over the next several weeks. One of those is trying a client-based blog. I am happy to be the first contributor. My best to you!
